To support the timely submission of assignments that are connected as closely as possible to the periods of learning, SHS has a Park and Produce Protocol as follows:
For any missed/tardy assignments, teachers may submit a referral to an administrator to "park and produce" the work. Students will have to attend either the afterschool session offered approximately every other Thursday from 2:45 pm until the assignment is completed or during a scheduled lunch period as indicated on the yellow referral form).
Help is offered at both as needed. Self referrals are also encouraged. Parents/guardians would be expected to provide transportation for after school sessions at their convenience.
If the student completes the work before their scheduled session, they can have their teacher sign off on its successful completion and not have to attend the scheduled session.
