Band
This is a club for students who play or want to learn to play concert band instruments such as flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, tuba, and percussion. We rehearse on Monday after school from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. and Wednesday's at lunch in the Music Room. We play a variety of music including pop, rock, and jazz and perform at various assemblies and events throughout the year. In December the band tours to local elementary schools and we host a holiday concert. - Leader, Evan Jackson
Games Club
Join Mr. Shaw and our SHS student game players for some fun rounds of Exploding Kittens, King Dominoes, Tiny Towns, Code Names, Sushi Go! and much more. Activities kick off at the start of lunch every Wednesday in the Library. No experience is necessary. - Leader, Joe Shaw

Are you interested in making money and learning about finance? Get ready to change the world and the way you think about cash. Join Money Specialist and Co-Host Sean Reade who will give you lots of information about stocks, the importance of TFSA’s, cryptocurrencies and much more. Outdoors Club
We have several ideas for activities including, Ice Fishing, Hiking, Snowshoeing, Cross-Country Skiing, Paddling and others among them. We aim to also take an environmental approach, where we can both enjoy and help the environment simultaneously. S.A.G.E. (Sexuality and Gender Equality)
The S.A.G.E. (Sexuality and Gender Equality) group meets weekly in a safe space to share, learn and support other students who identify in various ways with their gender and sexuality. The group aims to foster more understanding around 2SLGBTQ+ by organizing events around SHS, as well as to create more visibility for sexual and gender diversity at school. - Leader, Josh Goodfellow

Syd's Cafe and Arts Leadership
This is a Coffee House that collects the talents of different performing artists at SHS. Students work with mentors to prepare a performance piece that is shared in the evening with friends and family. Syd's Cafe hosts actors, comedians, musicians, singers, magicians and dancers! All hidden talents are welcome! Syd's Cafe is a welcoming and casual environment and a great place to start if you are new to performing. - Leaders, Evan Jackson
