- The Outdoors Club is headed to Wheeler's Pancake House on Friday, December 5th. We will spend the afternoon touring the sugar bush, a historical syrup museum, and most importantly, feasting on big stacks of pancakes for lunch! Ms. Wallace and senior accountant/investor Sean Reade are going to host a lunch this Tuesday in the Library Conference Room. Bring your lunch. Let's think about how to strategically use money through these challenging economic times. We want everyone to be successful, so everyone is invited. - Wallace
- Attention all graduates – this is a reminder to book your graduation photos. The appointment booking link can be found in the Grade 12 Google Classroom, or there is a QR code outside of Student Services. Photos start on Dec 2nd and will be taking place in the Aerie. - Track North has begun! This is a group of Sydenham students that are either training for fun, fitness, to get stronger for another sport, or prepare for track and field in the spring. We offer long runs, sprint training, and weight room workouts before and after school. Our schedule is flexible, meaning you can join and train, even if you are busy with other sports or clubs. Please see Mr. Shibley or Mr. Lee for more information, or to join! - Shibley

If you are thinking of removing a semester 1 course, please see Ms. Fraser (gr.11) or Mrs. English (gr.12) before Friday December 5th.
- Join the grade 10 hospitality and tourism class on Tues Dec 16th in room 010 for a holiday lunch. Hot turkey will be served along with all the fixings. Tickets are $8.00 and can be purchased in the cafeteria. All are welcome, see you there!

- We will be hosting our first ever Pre-Holiday 3v3 Intramural Hockey Tournament at North Frontenac Arena. There will be posters put up around the school on Monday, December 8th and the first 42 students to sign up will be placed on 7 teams of 6. The tournament is on Friday, December 19th from 12:00 - 2:30. There will be a bus departing from SHS at 11:30. The first 42 males or females to sign up are in!!! If you register after 42, you will be placed on a wait list. Goalies are encouraged to sign up too or talk to Mr. Cook about your interest in playing that day.
- Anyone going on the field trip to Wheelers Pancake house today is reminded that the bus leaves at 9:45. Students should go to all of period 1 and then head straight to the bus after class ends.
