Grade 9 Orientation Continues!

Grade 9 Orientation - Friday Oct. 3 from 12 - 2:35.

Next week, our senior leaders have planned a fun day for our grade 9 students. Here is some information about the day:

1. • Students will be placed in a colour house (Purple, Blue, Green or Orange) and are encouraged to wear that colour the day of Orientation.
   • Students will have the choice to participate in games and challenges. Some games involve water, so be prepared that clothing/shoes could get dirty.
   • The fire department is planning on attending again to run a slip n’ slide.  Students have the option to slip n' slide in their clothing (no swimsuits, shirt mandatory).
   • We will be feeding Grade 9’s lunch on this day courtesy of our SHSM expanded opportunities team. Students will receive a hot dog, bag of chips and a drink, while getting to learn and hear about SHSM opportunities that become available in Grade 11 and 12.
   • Students who require individual accommodations or alternates to this plan can reach out to Mr. McDougall or Ms. Stevens.
