Grade 9 Orientation is on September 24th. Here's some information for you regarding details for the day:
Period A and B will run as normal. Students will get their regular lunch break from 11:00 - 11:50. Students will attend their Slot C class at 11:50 for attendance and then will be brought down to the main gym after to meet their entire colour house and their group leaders. Once in their colour house group students will then head down to the field where we will be for the rest of the day.
Students will be in smaller groups and move around to different stations playing fun games and getting to know their classmates. At one of the stations they will have an opportunity to get a hot dog, bag of chips and a juice box.
If your student doesn't know their colour house have them see Mr. English. Ideally students wear as much of their colour house as they can, but please be aware clothes may get dirty/wet. Feel free to bring a change of clothes if you feel it will be needed. There will be a slip and slide provided by the Fire Department. All students must be clothed throughout the day.
The washrooms at the point will be open but you need to let a staff member know if you’re using the washroom.

- Ideally leave it in your locker, but if not you can bring it down to the field and leave it on the bleachers.

- Bring a water bottle and a positive attitude!
