Report your teen’s Tdap vaccine to KFL&A Public Health!
Teens are due for an vaccine against tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis (Tdap) between the ages of 14 and 16; ten years from the date of the last booster. This vaccine is legally required for attendance in school.
Parents must report when their teen gets this vaccine to KFL&A Public Health.
If your teen needs this vaccine, they can get it from their family doctor, KFL&A Public Health or a walk-in clinic.
If your teen has already had this vaccine and you have not reported it to KFL&A Public Health, please do so as soon as possible. Parents can report vaccine information on the KFL&A Public Health website at www.kflaph.ca, by calling 613-549-1232 or by fax to 613-549-0985.
